F/Ftr wind flag dimensions

Are there different sizes for different distances? On line I find a standard dimension of 12 foot long but I know the ones we use at 300 are around 5 foot long. I want to buy one so I can better learn to read the wind but I want to make sure it coincides with all the info regarding flag position/wind strength?

Hi Ted,
I got a few flags from http://www.tlcgunworks.com/catalog1.1.html

I use them for practice, but I don't think all range flags are equal so it will be hard to make a definite decoder ring for them

Thanks Nic, I am having a couple made to 1/2 NRA specs. This size will be more practical for practice.
