I wish these guys would just get regular websites and quit doing everything on Farcebook. Not all of us have or want anything to do with that site...

Dryfly24 the reason more and more shooting pages are being moved over from forums to facebook is ease.. Way less money to build FB page (as in free) then a website. Facebook and Instagram pages get information out 10 times faster and you are able to make changes on the fly. I use to own the forum Texasdragracing.com it was a pain in the butt and the website was way over cost at the time. Since then the new owner uses social media FB, Instagram and YouTube. His fan base grew 75% overnight. Even now that site directs you to facebook.. But what I have told users who dislike the idea of having FB is just build a login and use it strictly for your hobby stuff. I very seldom myself use FB for anything personal, it's 100% for all our shooting actives.

I get what you’re saying but no thanks. I tried that once when the Indian Motorcycle Rider’s group I rode with pressured me into the same thing for the same reason. Didn’t work it for me. People will inevitably try to get you to do this or that. No matter how innocuous you think it’ll be, slowly but surely it starts to grow like a cancerous tumor.

I grudgingly went back To Facebook after totally deleting my account several years ago... Because I was forced to go back to Facebook.

Making sure you get banned from all the Facebook pages run by idiots seems to help though... I just got banned fron Valkyrie Ascending to day.

Steve unfortunately I have known him since HS...Crazy thing is we lost touch and saw each other years later at a uspsa shoot in SA

I met him while trying to get on with SAPD. He was in the Academy and I was in the processing phase at the time. He is still there and I retired...
