F-Class Smallbore Stock?

The fact that it is a Trident will really limit your choices to a custom stock. I usually shoot Smallbore F Class with a Anschutz benchrest rifle with a factory stock. I have shot my 2500X with a Tony Melee stock bedded by Evelio McDonald. It worked well but I would install an Anschutz rail if I were to use it exclusively for F Class.

If you should decide to look for an Anschutz Rifle contact me. I have a I966 1411 and a 1968 1413. They both shoot great and I have shot F-Class a few times with both. They shoot very well at 50 and 100 yards.
F-Class shoots are too far from me to continue shooting it. I did really enjoy shooting Rimfire F-Class.

“Best” stock would certainly be a purpose built F-class stock such as a Masterclass, Dima or Cerus. The stocks are of an “in-line” design with no cast-off and thus track straight in the rear bag.

Anschutz benchrest type would also work, as they appear to have a deeper butt area vs a true benchrest stock.

A regular prone stock will work, and can be readily modified with a front bag rider plate. A custom adapter can be made to mount on the buttplate that would have a 1” or so rod that would run parallel with the rifle centerline under the buttstock.

Another option may be one of the “chassis” offered. Some have the parallel rod I mentioned above already in the design.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Ken, just what I was looking for. Do you have any experience with the McMillan Edge or Rotex stocks?

I particularly like the Edge Heavy Varmint for my Vudoo.
