F-Class - Scope Bell to barrel clearance

My normal mirage band will not fit under my 52mm March.
Will the barrel heat from a 20 shot string cause image issues by warming the underside of the scope bell.

I would have the band located just in front of the objective

Any advice is much appreciated.

Is there a reason why you have such a low mount on your F-Class rifle? An F-class rifle is not a hunting rifle; we sped a lot more time behind the scope in F-Class than the few seconds you look through the scope on a hunting rifle. Plus we do this from prone.

On my F-TR rifle, I use Burris XTR high righs at 1.5inch and these rings are mounted on a canted rail. My head is straight up and down, not sqwinshed on the side. This gives me a very comforatble position so that I can view through my scope for a long time without discomfort. There is over an inch of space between the bottom of my 56mm objective and the top of the barrel.

No reason, other than the stock seemed to feel natural with lower mounts.
It's not a purpose built rifle. Cooper m22 with a Kreiger.

The heat is going to rise. It will flow around the scope bell. May increase the bells temp a little. Sitting in the hot sun for 20 minutes will probably heat the scope more than the barrel heat. The bare barrel in front of the scope will produce lots of heat waves.
