F-Class Record 600 yards 60 shot Agg

Is there an established record for F-Class for three 20 round matches at 600 yards?

This weekend at SW Regionals (Capitan, NM) for F-Class a buddy shot a 600-46X, and we were trying to find out if that was a record, nobody can seem to find if this is one, or even if this is an established category.

The Match Director should of known, if it was a NRA Registered Tournament the MD/Club/contact receives a current copy of the National Records prior to the Tournament.....

The F-Class Mid Range Agg. can be shot as PALMA Course or Mid Range Cousre 300-500-600 and it's 15 shots for Record only not 20.

This was a Fclass LR Regional. 3x20 at 1000 and 3x20 at 600

For whatever reason the NRA added this coarse of fire in the fclass section and it has never been added to the HP section

I wouldn't know if this is a national record or not. But, to anyone who witnessed the shooting it borders on the unbelievable. While we didn't have the usual screaming/howling wind/mirage that Capitan is famous for, to shoot that many x's at 600 through the bloops and blips of Capitan is just unreal.

The Capitan range can, will, and does bite you at any time, at any range, moreso than anyplace I know of.

Great shooting Kenny, it was a privilege to watch.

I agree Tom. Shooting a clean score all day is a huge accomplishment and in my opinion should be a National record.

I spoke to Kenny P. over the weekend and gave him the bad news. There is no aggregate record for 600 yards nor 1,000 for that matter.

Stars were aligned up north too. At the Montana State mid-range championship Aug. 2nd at the Yellowstone Rifle Club in Billings, Brian Suhr shot a 600 - 45x....

I'll add that watching talented shooters light it up is as much fun for me as shooting a personal record. This past weekend at the Montana State Midrange Championships, I was privileged to watch Brian Suhr of ND shoot a mind-boggling 600-45X at Yellowstone Rifle Club in Billings. Not done yet, and nearly two hours later, he captained his 4-man team and posted another clean (200-12X) for his leg of the relay. Kudos Kenny and Brian!

I was also lucky enough to watch Jon Clauson tie the national record for F-Open with a 200-19X a few weeks ago and that was exciting, too. Drew

Edit: lawman ya beat me to it!

That's some excellent shooting. I agree they should have aggregate records for 600 yards. I thought I had one a couple years ago when I shot a 1600-120x at 600. Two days of 4x20 shot strings, 800-60x each day. I was somewhat disappointed when I found out they didn't. That was the same weekend Sebold shot his 200-19x.

Given all the different match formats (e.g. 3x20, 4x20, 3x15, 4x15, et al) at all the different distances (e.g. 300, 500, 600, 800, 900, 1k), that'd be a lot of records to maintain for an already over taxed NRA staff. It sure would be nice though.

My personal disappointment was a 800-72x @ 500 a couple of years ago at a regional in Duluth. That score might stand for a while. Ohwell :)

Wow, excellent shooting! He will have to settle for the range record that can be viewed by his fellow shooters. We post these at the firing line for everyone to see at our club. Great motivator and reward for the accomplishment.

Pretty sure a fellow at camp perry shot a 600-51x during one of the mid range matches. Averaging 17 x's a string is phenomenal!
