Ray...thanks for the insight. I started back into shooting in 2009 I started with a model 70 in 308 with a bipod and scope. I enjoyed it...but I wanted to get back to something like my roots (smallbore). I have enjoyed the trek so far! It speaks volumes that you have struggled to win knowing your shooting abilities!

Looking forward to grayling...got a bunch of brass prepped and going to do load development when I get back from japan in April.

Excellent post Ray. I was dissapointed the way the thread went, pissing on a young shooter doing well thread. I hate the sling vs FC stuff, we are all in the same boat wheather we like it or not.

Al's daughter is really shooting great, I shot Oscoda when she was shooting, she didn't drop many points at all. She has a very proud dad, I would be also.

Many sling guys are starting their young ones at FC, there are reasons, like the strenght to hold the rifle up (it was a strain for me when I went from service rifle to match). Also the price of buying a $400 jacket every year, etc.

Chris: glad you are going to shoot Grayling this year, you will love it.
