F-CLASS NATIONALS

WOW!!! Things have certainly changed around!!! Now it truly IS anyone's game!

Not quite anyone, Ben. ;) [br]
I think there are six, maybe ten at the outside, F-Open shooters that could take it. I would bet that it is one of five. We'll know Saturday. [br]

You are correct Steve.. I did not actually mean ANYONE.. I meant the guys who are in the top 12 or thereabouts. Then it appears to drop off the table.. The guys who are "still on the table" as it were, could take any of the top 3 positions. One of my "shootin' buds" John Myers, is currently sitting at the top. If he "stays on HIS game" he will be nigh on to impossible to overcome. However, look at Mark Walker, arguably one of the TOP F-OPEN shooter's on this terra firma, seems to have had a less than good day. However, make no mistake about it, Mark is fully capable to go right back to the top. Another one of my "shootin' buds" is Matt Davis, he certainly has, not only the ability, but the position to make a run at the top!

Dave Gosnell, Danny Biggs and Emil Kovan are all shooting high x-counts and only two-three points off the lead. Larry Bartholome has not been quite as precise but is only two off and is usually very consistent. Saturday will tell the tale. [br]

They are, unquestionably, excellent F-Open shooters.. I know that Larry Bartholeme is a Texan, however, I have never had the pleasure of meeting the Gentleman, so I am pulling for the guys that shoot at Bayou. That is NOT to say that I don't want Larry to win,or really any other shooter! However, I know the guys at Bayou and I know they are well able to take the top spot and that is where my hopes lie!

Man! John Myers is on fire!! Way to go John!!

John is a good shot and always at the top. His experience is paying off. Damn interesting match. Just goes to show you how many great shooters have the potential to win.

Yes Mike, the shooters there are definitely at the top of the food chain.. John is an extremely potent challenger. Beating him will take some doing. However, with just a slight "stubbing of his toe", the game then becomes open to the top shooters there.. This will be very interesting tomorrow! BUT since I am a Texan and a member at Bayou Rifles, I want "our boys" to clean up>>>>OH and by the way John Myers is a member here also, along with Mark Walker and Matt Davis, all being at or near the top!

Congratulations to Emil and Jim and to everyone who competed.

Congratulations to Emil Kovan and James Crofts for winning the individaul F-Open and F-T/R match.

Also, congratulations to Team Grizzly shooters - four of top six overall winners in individuals.

As far as I know, here are the top six calibers used:

Emil Kovan - .284 Win
Danny Biggs - 7RSAUM
Kenny Adams - 7RSAUM
David Gosnell - Sorry don't know, but pretty sure some kind of 7mm
Shiraz - .300WSM
John Myers - .284 Win

Congratulations to all those TOP shooters. However, everyone who competed needs an "ATTA BOY" for going and doing their best! That's all that can be asked from anyone!
