German Thanks for posting this!

Rod I think with all the pics that Bayou Shooter posted, and one pic in Germans Article. I have been able to find you and put a face with a name. Hope to maybe meet you at Raton next yr? Something will have to exploed to keep me from making it!
Thanks Mark

Mark, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I would have liked to go, but it's too far a trip for me - maybe next time. Reading Rod's article made me feel like I was there a bit. A shooter's perspective is a lot more entertaining that just getting a score sheet in the mail. This thread has been great too!

i was wondering if their would be a way to find out what some of the guys were shooting in the ftr class, bullet weight 223 vs 308 etc..

There was a good mix of bullets this time out. Lots of people were running the Berger 155.5's (places 2nd, 5th, and 6th), but an equal number were running something heavier; a mix of Berger 185's, 200 hybrids, and 208 A-max's. I'm almost certain that Jeff Rorer (the winner) was running his excellent 185 load, but John Weil made an amazing showing (winning the last, and arguably the most wild of the 1000 yard stages) with his 155.5's.

I don't know of anyone in the top 25 or so that was running a .223, but I wasn't paying that close attention either.

Hope this helps,

Darrell

Just FYI, this is what I shot to finish 3rd in FTR:
Rem 700
30" Broughton barrel
Sinclair bipod
Berger 185 BTLR bullets
Lapua small primer pocket brass
RL15 powder
Edgewood rear bag

Thanks to my husband who is an awesome gunsmith and reloader :)

Anybody have Final Team Results?

I'm still trying to get official team results -- more than just the winners? I know that the 1K stage was cancelled, but trophies were still awarded based on teams' 600-yard results.

Does anyone have a link to final team results?

If so, please email me at: mailbox@6mmbr.com

I just received an email (ok a few hours ago,) the detailed results are here:
