F-Class Nationals Lodi, Wi

This is in no way a slight to the guys who shoot MA or HM, you have to be good to get there, but you can be good and in FTR Expert often means you haven't gotten a lollypop weekend or two in a row yet. This point has been argued to death more than once. (Jim Crofts won the FCNC x2 as an Expert, Nic Taylor won the worlds as an Expert.).

Way to go Mike Plunkett!

Ditto, way to go Mike Plunkett!!!

Mike shot great, he will be competitive anywhere he shoots! Proud to call him a friend!

Thanks Dan! You made quite a few trips to the podium last night yourself... Leaving the award's last night you like Mr T. With all your medals! Great job to you and Team Sinclair!

Congratulations Mike and Rich. That's some good good shooting in challenging conditions. And congrats to Dan on the team match. I wish I could have stayed for LR to see it.

Mike is a great guy and a very competitive shooter. It's my honor to call him a friend (pretty tough for an USAF guy to tell a Marine! :)

Wow , that was a match! It had everything you would want for a test of skill and endurance in shooting. Vertical ... I've heard that somewhere lately. Lol. We rolled in the mud and had a mountain of challenges at this one. The leaders changed so fast it was anybody's game every relay. The guys that placed high were very determined and needed to be !! That was a rough one but I think everybody was glad to see the last day. Lmao. I was! This sport just took a big step and the reviews will be a mix. I'm kinda patient with change for a good reason. Thank you Winnequah for hosting this match!!

Nino Ramirez has shot consistently for the three days. Others top shooters had good and bad days. Congratulations "Nino", this time I could not catch up with you!
If next year Nationals is going to be held in Lodi again, here are a few simple suggestions:
1. At the end of each day is a minor task to send an email to the shooter distribution list with the results. E-targets makes it even easier since the scores and already in a computer.
2. Put three garbage cans on the line. It makes no sense to walk all the way to the food stand to dispose garbage.
3. Fill up the ditch in positions 1-5 and put down some sand to reduce the mud. The third day, the area around position 1-5 was muddy and really slippery.
4. Have more vendors! Shooters love to buy toys. I would have loved to buy a hat of the event...
5. Install 8-10 canopies behind the shooting line so everybody not shooting/scoring can stay dry while waiting.
Actually, the e-target system worked fairly well and it allowed to move quickly. When you get used not to see the spotter on your target but on a screen, e-target are quite efficient.
These are minor thinks to implement but will make the event even more enjoyable.

There was a garbage at the official range vehicle located in the center of the firing line.

Not such a minor task, there's no internet hooked up.
