F Class Matches

A friend and I plan to visit the USA later this year - probably Nov-Dec depending on matches. We shoot F Class in SA/Nam and would like to shoot a couple of matches in the USA and simultaneously again see friends we met at the World Champs in Bloemfontein, SA, in April 2005.
What are the top competitions, locations and dates?

Phoenix Arizona has two 1000 yards matches on Friday after thankgiving, NOV. ) and Palma matches the first weekend of Dec.
They shoot fri, sat and sun. three palma matches plus one stage of the team match each day. F class welcome in both matches.
They are only matches that I know of in that time frame..

the f-class national championships are to be held in Sacramento, Ca. Oct. 6-8.

The "big" matches in the USA as far as number of f-class shooters and competition are:

Western States f-class - April 28-30 @ Waco, TX
Texas state L.R. champ. - May 27-29 @ Mineral Wells, TX
The Rockey MT Palma match - June 14-17 @ Raton, NM
Tenn. state f-class match - Aug. ?
Spirit of America - Sept. 10-16 @ Raton, NM
F-Class Nationals - Oct. 6-8 @ Sacramento, CA

there may be more that I am not aware of but the ones I would like to attend every year, just don't have enough vacation time or money

1000 x 3 Saturday 9:30 am
1000 X 2 & team match Sunday 10:00 am

Jeff is talking about the TN state F-class championship. This year would be the 3rd one to be held, it is a don't miss for f-class shooters. As usual for matches at A.E.D.C. it is a first rate match for f-class only.


Jeff, no I haven't heard a date as of yet, but per Rusty at last years event, he said he was going to try for the same w/e. I haven't seen the schedule out for L.R. at A.E.D.C. for TNSSA yet.
