F-class match results

I went to the beach to cool off and shoot a mid range f-class match at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. San Margarita club held it.

I shot my best mid range to date. 600-53X

Was nice and windy but, pretty steady.

I love my AMP AND MY BULLET GENE.

But the most amazing thing was the scope.

I used one of my ELR MARCH GENESIS 6X60.

Everyone was talking about the mirage but, for the first two matches, I was on 60X. The last match I turned it down to 45X. I had the clearest view of the rings on the target all day, better than I ever have had. Also, it was first focal plain which was awesome. I have never used one before today. I will use one for sure at the BERGER NAT and all the other future matches.

That's incredible shooting. Congratulations!

Hopefully this will put the Norma Dasher arguments to rest...

Fantastic! Lou could you share which berger bullet, powder, primer, twist and no-turn/turned necks?

Very nice shooting! It's good to know that Santa Margarita Gun Club has gotten everything squared away and back to shooting at Camp Pendleton. Just out of curiosity, was that held on Range 116? It doesn't look like Range 103.

I don’t remember range number, I followed Harry in it was dark.
You know I like to play so I shot, 105vld moly on first one, 105 vld plain on second and 108 target on the third. Varget powder
Cci benchrest and just clean neck .0005 turned.

I just checked the Santa Margarita website website, it was Range 214, which is a little north of the 1000 yd range (117), and slightly closer to the coast. I've never shot on that range before, which is obviously why it looked unfamiliar. Outstanding shooting, no matter which range it was.

Lou,

I am a fan of annealing most of the time.
I know nothing of the Bullet Genie except what I learned after watching a few videos after reading this post.
What are your experiences with it?
