How many Target carriers are in the Plans? Best of luck on your Range...

I guess Tom is working today Russ. The plan is for 15. I have to build them and am going to use something similar to the Oak Ridge design.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay it has been a long day.

looks like Mike has already answered your question Russ, how have you been ? how is the swarovski spotter working out?

I'm glad to be getting this feedback from everyone, we opened this range two years ago and have held IBS 1000/600 yard benchrest matches each year , along with some varmint matches . We are also open year around for members that want to use the range, I feel like f-class is going to be great addition to the place.

Thanks Tom

Shucks that is too bad. Im not a big fan of the Cantelever design. I do however know what lays ahead for you. I built 16 Carriers for the Bismarck ND range in 1999 and 2000 when they built there new 1000 yard range. Its alot of work and the price of Steel has gone through the roof since then.

Welding Carriers together is one thing. Planting them in the ground... Whoooo dogs is that a long day. They should be perfect for plumb, left, right, and spacing.. Starting inthe middle and working out seemed to work best.

Good on you guys.... Thank you in advance of your hard work. We as shooters need more Ranges.

Doing Fine... Gone again however. Been gone pretty much the last four years off and on. So I havnt been able to use that Swaro Spotting scope to its full potential. I think Im ready for a nice long Mule Deer hunt or Antalope for that matter. It will be perfect for that.

Im so happy to hear that a new range is going up....

Just took a look at your web site... Man it sure looks like you guys have been busy. I like the pictures from the day one with bales of hay to the line being full of Benchrest shooters doing what they love to do. I take it you live nearbye?
Not that my opinion is worth anything but if you would like to see some pictures of our Pit and Carriers shoot me an email. Did you build a Form for your concrete bench tops like we did?
Its a lot of work and very few people want to chip in and help but they sure want to shoot. Again good on you guys. Im very impressed what you have done so far.
