F class in Northern Missouri

Hi

Want to get some feedback , Vapor Tail Valley is planning on installing pits this fall , so we can add 1000 yard and 600 yard f class to our venue for 2015.

We already shoot 1000/600 IBS benchrest.

Immike has been very helpful with all my questions, but i want to hear from alot of the midwestern f classers if they are interested in this.

We are located outside of princeton Missouri.

I am very excited to hear that you are considering this. I live in Columbia and travel to STL benchrest to shoot most of their 600 yard F-Class matches and actually met you at one of them this last year. I know several guys from this area who would be very interested in this and it would be very nice to have 1000yd f-class matches this close. I am sure Mike several others will chime in on here soon and I know several of the STL shooters would make the trip up to shoot.

This is going to be a great Fclass range and is centrally located for several states around without a 1000yd range. I have already told Tom that I will need a place to build my cabin nearby, lol. This range is a successful and popular range for benchrest shooting as is and this will be a exciting step forward for vapor trail valley. I am already making plans to help Tom as much as possible. BTW TOM knows how to shoot.

I would expect it to be popular for a crowd from Kansas City. We only have a 500 yard range, and they don't run F-Class. My home club is only 200 yards and I can think of at least 8 guys from there who would make the trip for a few matches a year. (and a couple of us would try to make them all!)

You would be about an hour closer than our other MR options, and much closer for 1000 yard matches.

I would think this would provide an awesome opportunity in the central states. I knew if I lived closer, I'd be there. I have two 1k f-class ranges in my area and they both take a 200 mile drive one direction. Man, I would think anyone in Omaha, St. Louis, Des Moines, KC would attend. Great location and sounds like a great time. Definitely on my future list of places to shoot. Good job Tom!!

We are still in the planning stages, but yes we would have a place for slingshooters along side the f-classers.

If there is room There are a lot of sling shooters in kc area that would be grateful to have 1k
As said already we have 500 But there are never any prone or f class matches scheduled

My son and I would like to attend. The Easern Nebraska Gun Club has a 600 yard F-Class match the 4th Saturday of each month. If we can avoid doing it the same weekend that would be great.
