This is my stab at an offset stock.
It is extreme.
And not for everyone.
The barreled action is as far to the side as I could get it. The wall thickness is 1/8†on that side. All the wood up front left room for a 5â€x6†mercury recoil reducer. The off side weight and the vibration damping SHOULD help with the torque.
What makes this stock unique is that the 3†wide front bag rider is in-line and centered with the rear bag rider angles. Some offset stocks have just shifted the front by adding width to one side and take material off the opposite side. The sides are 1†tall to slide down the vertical bag ear.
The other trick was to get the cheekpiece (angle) back in-line with the bore. The scope is offset 3/8†to aid this alignment.
Really sweet stock to shoot.
