F Class Competition Schedule

I'm planning a trip to the USA and would like to make use of the opportunity to participate in a F Class competition, meet up with some of the guys whom I met at the World Champs in Bloemfontein in 2005 and make new friends.

1. When will the F Class Schedule for 2007 be available?

2. When & where will the US Open F Class Championships be held in 2007?

3. Will there be any F Class competitions in Texas or surrounding states during March 2007.

Very, very, very few ranges in the US have enough participants to hold "F-Class only" matches. In fact, I'd guess about 5 such events are held each year - WORLDWIDE.

F-Class shooters are welcome at any NRA Registered or Approved prone match. These usually occur at distances of 300 yards and beyond.

An online list of matches,include US over-the-course matches) can be seen at http://www.nrapublications.org/sh.%20sports/highpowerrifle.asp . This list is updated quarterly, so check beck every so often.

Most clubs havn't posted thier 2007 schedules yet. Here's what I know so far.

Texas
Ft.Wolters F-class mid-range championship. February 17 & 18,2007
Western States F-class championship. April 28-30? 2007

Indiana
Indiana State F-class championship. May 26 & 27, 2007

Tennessee
F-class regional. Spring 2007
State F-class championship. Summer 2007

New Mexico
U.S. F-class nationals. September 13-15, 2007

Other matches that usually have a large number of F-class shooters are.
Texas State LR championship. May 26-28,2007
Midwestern Palma championship. June 18-22, 2007
RMPM. July 16-21, 2007
SOA. September 9-12, 2007
March Madness in Sacramento. Not sure of dates or COF.
Louisiana State mid-range championship. October ?
