F class bipod..... a quest

We have a class we shoot at our local club. It is called tactical. But that just means bipod and repeater. So, in the spirit of the division I tried a atlas bipod. It is a rock. Just not as great as it could be. That is why i am searching for a f class style bipod. I have read about a few but as good as google is I can’t seem to turn up any for a sale.

I have seen a Sinclair and really didn’t like the set up. I have seen pics of Phoenix, evo osprey, rempel, tier one carbon fiber and seb. These look interesting.

first I would like to have info on first hand experience with these or ones I have not listed.
Ease of use, adjustability, cost and overall versatility would be some great information.

then I would like to have some info on where to get the dang things. They all look as rare as hen teeth.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Ive had a rempel, works good but heavy. I have a seb joypod now. Probably best on the market. Light weight, joystick. Hard to beat.. but you have to get on the list to order one with ernie bishop. Hes the US dealer for seb.

550 buck if i remember right. Easy to put on other rifles too.

Yes there is. Calling @Papa Charlie. I know he has done this with his XLR chassis. Hope he can help.

I purchased my adapter from American Defense. I didn't care for the Anschutz style of mount. I also hated having to carry a allen wrench to attach and remove it at the range.

The American Defense mounts have two mounting holes that match to the rail on the Duplin Rorer. The holes in the mount also match up to most lights and lasers.

This is the one that I purchased AD-170-S(4103). The quality of these mounts is outstanding and made in the USA.

Dang I should have bought it. $275.00 is a good price. I don't have one because I will not break down and buy new, plus the bipod I have works fine. M.Werks.

I felt the same way. I had sold mine and purchased the Joypod. Absolutely hated it, so I tried to find another one used. Finally just bit the bullet and purchased one new from Brownells.

The Duplin Rorer is an amazing bipod. As long as I compete in F-Class I will be using it.

This is great info. Thanks

I have seen some of y’all mention weight. When shooting , how does the weight effect the shooting? I am new to this style and would appreciate the input.

The weight of the bipod is part of your overall weight in f class. A lot of guns run really close to the limit. 18.15lbs in F/TR

Ok. I am not shooting that classification. I am really looking for the most stable bipod type device. You fellows are enlightening me on this subject. Great info.
