F-Class and Barrel Tuner

Is a Barrel Tuner permitted in F-Class? I do not have an NRA Rulebook and was just wondering.

I went on line and read the NRA rulebook for rifles. I would have to say yes.

Sure, but you are still going to have to make weight with it. Most of us are pushing as long a barrel as we can get under the weight limit. I'm not sure what a tuner will get you in F class. If you've done your load development so that you're in a node, you make good ammo you can get a sub .5moa setup. That's going to hold the X ring. I'm really not sure you could see the difference a tuner would make at 1000 yards unless it's going to knock .2 moa off of your already .5 moa group.

Top 2 Shooter at Florida1000yd Gong shoot Were using R A Z Tuner Brakes.
32 shooter over 2 days.
Top 4 shot 70 rounds for score and the same for sighters.
Top 2 Both had RAZ Tuner Breakes

Tuners are legal, however brakes are not, so stay away from the tuner brake for F-Class.

I shoot F-Class , both Open and FTR. I pretty much knew the answer to this question but just wanted to get it out there for others. There has been some talk here lately on Tuners. I've never seen 1 on the line in F-class.

I've seen one on a rifle that didn't start life as an F class rifle.

Go to the daily bulltin and see about the Turners and read the article and how to tune . Erick is on vacation. The tuner breaks is what Erick and i shot inFlorida Gong Shoot we got first and second.

Larry, thanks for the use of your truck,and I think the switch in rifles on the last day was a good idea, you shot very well for the switching conditions we had,you deserve a applause as well, if all the F class guys try these tuners then we will have a lot harder compitition, see you at charlys steak house next time.
