F Class, 1 or 2 rifles?

So, in either F Open or F T/R, how many of you end up with 2 rifles. A mid range and a long range setup?

Well, the third one is semi-retired. It's backup only.

Right now I have one, but I have a build with all the parts including the barrel at the smith now, so I'll have 2 in another month, and I'm working on a Savage to make in to a mid range gun.

I'm probably going to set the savage up as a switch barrel with a 308 and a 223 so it can be a backup long range and a full time mid range gun.

Once I'm comfortable with my new build I'm going to lop six or ten inches off of my current 308. It's already in a McM A5 and I won't need another long gun.

So put me down as 1, soon to be 2, maybe 3 but then not. :

I always bring two to the match. One major match I had a firing pin malfunction, NO backups. Since then I bring two.

i have a couple of good ones but i tend to go back to my BAT switch barrel because i like it more.

but the BAT is a pain when you have 1 barrel humming and you have to take it out to run in or do load development for another barrel. im now building 2 IDENTICAL rifles so i can hopefully allways have one humming ready for comps and one being tuned.

Wheeewwww,,,,glad I am not crazy after all. I REALLLY want another and have not even got to shoot my new FTR rig yet in a comp.

Little bit of a dilemma, I NEVER sell a gun after I buy one. Can allways pass it down...anyway, years back I thought I HAD to have a FAL....so I built one.

Waste of money but got someone interested in it so I am thinking about selling it to finance my next F rig which will be an F Open.

I swear this is a disease!

That's not correct. He does not have one for the 400 yard line.

I didn't count the 3-Sling/Prone/PALMA rifles.....or the 4 Service rifles.....lets not talk about hunting!
