F-C worlds, Who won the Surgeon Rifle?

Hey I was curious, Surgeon built a FTR rifle on a 591 action, and McM A-5, intended for the FTR World Champion, Who got the rifle? We have not had a thank you call, or note come into the shop, and the manager was wondering what ever happened?

Great photo bayou, now lets see here. The first place guy got that brand new shiney rifle Way to go. Looks like the second place guy got himself a new Nigh Force scope, great prize there as well and congratulations. Third place guy man he got a really cool piece of Blue Paper. That ought to provide a little incentive to do a might better next time out.

If I recall the blue paper that Mr.Buell is holding is redeemable for a custom made in Michigan Pierce action. Not really a bad prize

Well, I think it was awesome for Surgeon, Nightforce and Michigan Pierce, is it?, to make such fantastic donations for the winner and runners-up.

I also appreciated all the vendors who supported the events and those who came to Raton.

Thanks for the pics and info guys. Surgeon rifles is proud to support the shooting sports. Our largest market by far is the tactical/precision rifle sports, and we were happy to donate this rifle to the World's.

I didn`t realize any F-Class shooters used Surgeon. Guess I was wrong. Hey Jim, is Surgeon ever going to offer an action without a built in base? Thats one reason I don`t use one.

At one time they made RSR actions which were a rem clone with pinned lug and pinned base. We also make an integral lug and no integral base for one specific customer. So they are out there but at this point we are not taking action orders. We are working hard right now to increase production/staff so hopefully we will work thru the existing orders and have actions once again available in larger quantities. The web-site will be the best place to gain that info when it happens.

Both of my F Class rigs are Surgeon. I have a .284 that came out of the Surgeon shop and my TR rig by Mike Bryant of Bryant Customs. Both are shooters.

I'd like to give Surgeon two "GunsUp" for supporting F-TR. They are truly good people and great to do business with.
