Does anyone else have a problem navigating this web site? My computer is slow to begin with but sometimes I can hit on something,go have a smoke,come back and it's still trying to get there. Is it just my set up or is there a way to get around this? Thanks tootalloutdoors

Recently switched providers and had similar issues w/ this site, along with a few others. Talked w/ my ISP and had to tweak some settings in the internal web control panel on my router/wireless access point... then everything loaded zippity-doo-da quick!

Depends on what day it is! Some days mine works "real" fast. Others, take a brake and come back later!

We do have a pretty heavy load on the home page,because of the Blog photos). And the Gun of the Week stories also have a lot of photos. But our Forum is third-party hosted and it has always been extremely fast.

Also, if you are using Internet Explorer, try FireFox instead. With IE, sometime if just one little image file doesn't load, the whole page will stall. With Firefox it will load the whole page and just leave the "slow" image file as blank.
