Up until now I have been shooting the Barnes XBT 165s in this gun and they were ok. The only reason I’m switching to the Berger’s is they are half the price and “should” fly better at longer range. I’m trying to stretch this gun out to be reliable at 500 yds
I've very confident with the 130 ttsx out to 400 yards. I get point blank +3.5" / -3.5" out to 350 yards. I sight in about 3.5" high at 200 yards and at 350 yards it's between 3" and 4" low and less than 10" low at 400 yards.
Reason why I went with the 130 TTSX is because of the point blank range and when I take a shot at very close range I don't have to worry about the bullet exploding all over the place and the velocity alone drops them in their tracks at close range.
I'm using W-760 (H-414) and I chronoed them is sub freezing and warmer weather. Difference was roughly 50 fps. 3,550+/- fps in the warm and 3,500+/- fps in the cold.
