SOLD Expert grade Springfield, Armory, 308 Garand, unfired in case $1500 plus shipping

Thank you for looking, for sale is a newly rebuilt expert grade 308 Garand. This gun has a May 1942 six digit serial number. The gun is in brand new Cmp Wood and has a brand new Criterion barrel. All metal has been refinished and re-parked. It has a brand new gas cylinder and stock hardware. I personally chose this rifle from the rack at the Cmp North store during the national matches this year, this was the best gun out of the 60 that they had on display. I chose to 308 because I had one years ago and they are a joy to shoot. The metal is completely without blemish, no pitting below the stock line and nothing other than a cosmetic scuff here or there. I noted a couple of dings in the stock that must’ve been put in while it was in the rack. Springfield receiver, Springfield, up rod, Springfield bolt , Winchester, main trigger housing and a international Harvester hammer. This gun has not been fired. It has not even been greased. It will come with the original paperwork receipt, a web sling, and an en block or two. If you prefer one and 30-06 reach out to me I have one of those for sale too in similar condition. The rifle was in the hard case and I have a shipping box for it.
