Experienced advice in Cerakote vs DuraCoat barreled action finishes

How does KG gun coat stack up? Just curious

I just found out it is KG gun coat instead of DuraCoat.

Kg is a tad better than durakote. If you can get cerakote theres no question what to get.

I have kg gun kote on one of mine. I havent had any problems. Put it in a vice, took off barrels, and back on, not a scratch on em. It holds up pretty well. If KG is a bit cheaper, Id do it..

There again I dont throw guns around and treat em bad, I take care of em...
