experience with 77 gr. nosler c. comp in a Jp ctr-02?

I'm a waiting delivery of a Jp ctr-02 upper with 24 inch 1x8 twist barrel. I was wondering if anyone on this site has experience with this combination? If so what worked for you? Just looking for starting points and or if the gun even likes them at all. Thank, nick.

Just load them to 2.25" with about 24gr of Varget. If it won't shoot with that, it won't shoot.

24" Krieger 1-8", likes anything 75-80gr, Hornady, Nosler, Sierra, Berger over R-15 and Varget

I use them in a Tikka 223 1:8T Varmint, CCI BR4's 23.5 gr Varget, shot it in Factory class, shot a best of 1.1 inch @ 300m

Mine shoot well, but at lower velocity. I find the Noslers like 2550fps more than 2700fps. Even their "custom comp" ammo is loaded for lower velocity than other brands.

this means 2.25" and 22.6gr Varget.

Take this post as another reason to work up your load, but the Nosler 77gr shoots very well.
