Experience/opinions Sig Tango6

I ran across a crazy deal on two Sig Tango6 3-18x44s. I don't have them in my hands yet but the price was too good to pass on. I've played with them in stores, heard rumors they were made by Nightforce, I like some of their features, glass seems pretty good. Do any of you have any hands on experience that you would like to share? If so I'd like to hear it. I'm curious about repeatability, eye relief, tunneling, turret accuracy... That kind of stuff.

I'm not too impressed with the sig binos or scopes for the money. They're ok, but there is other glass out there that can best the Sig glass in all price ranges equal to the various sig optics.

Sig has been playing with image stabilization in a couple compact low power spotters. Want to get my hands on one to see how it performs. I've looked through a couple Japanese image stabilzed optics and it makes a world of difference with viewing. It makes good glass look absolutely amazing because every detail can be picked apart due to the fact that nothing is moving.

Now their Kilo rangefinders are quite impressive. The Kilo 2000 is quite the unit and extremely fast. I've been waiting for the launch of the new Kilo 2400 with Applied Ballistics programming for sometime to replace my Leica 1600. Wish they'd hurry up :)

I agree on the Sig Kilo 2000. I have one I use when I'm not using the G7 and love it. I ended getting a couple of Tango6 3-18x for stupid low money. I guess it will be a good chance to try them out. The one I handled in the store seemed ok but I don't see very much feedback on them.

My thoughts on Sig optics was that they are about on part with Vortex glass. Good, but definitely not the best. The Tango 6 is a pretty expensive scope, so if you got a great deal in it, I'm sure it will be worth it. Let us know your thoughts when you get it.

LOW makes scopes for many big names in the industry. They produce both very good optics, and great optics. Depends on the amount of money the customer wants to spend. They also produce some of the best optical glass available.

After your first comment I spent sometime learning about LOW, good info
