Huh? My original post about expander mandrels was on Thursday and posted my solution the next day.

I would still like to hear from someone about the effectiveness of a .256 mandrel vs. a 263 mandrel for the false shoulder method of fire forming.

I have the old school Lyman .257 dia. expander to use w cast bullets..If I only use the bottom of the expander & not the flaring portion..It works fine for doing the expanding prior to fire-forming to a BRX...Same principle...Mike in Ct
