Dear Shooting Enthusiasts,
I am thrilled to share that I have assumed the role of TSRA Match Director for 2024 and 2025, and my primary objective is to elevate the TSRA Long Range Championship to new heights. Taking place on April 12-14, 2024, this event promises an unforgettable experience for both seasoned competitors and newcomers alike.
Here's what's in store:
- Thursday kicks off with a practice session starting at noon, providing an excellent opportunity to acquaint yourself with the range.
- On Friday, gear up for the 4-man team match. Winning coaches will earn points for the prestigious NRA President’s Master Rifle Team Coach Medal Program.
- The weekend unfolds with the highly anticipated Texas State Long Range Championship, held on Saturday and Sunday.
In response to the evolving needs of our participants, this year's match will be conducted on electronic targets at Bayou Rifle Club. With no pit service, you'll have ample time to enjoy the company of friends between matches. To enhance the excitement, we've adopted a pair fire format, ensuring a level playing field as shooters move to different firing points after each match.
To add an extra layer of enjoyment, we've increased match fees to facilitate a memorable experience. A circus tent and a banquet with an impressive prize table await participants at the conclusion of Saturday's firing, where team match awards will also be presented. Our collective aim is to make this the most exceptional match you've ever attended!
V2 Finale IV will be held at Bayou Rifle Club in May 2024. This is also a great match to practice for the Finale and get V2 points.
Due to the overwhelming response last year, prompt registration is advised as this event tends to fill up quickly. Registration opens on January 14th at 8:00 AM CST. Be sure to secure your spot early! No more checks, so have your credit card ready at registration.

. I do know the saying that if you have to ask, you can’t afford it, and you mentioned credit cards 
. Will the credit card have to be black or gold to work this time around? Will we still be able to pay it off in a month or two? Tell wives now kind of increase, or it’ll still be ok kind?
