Exbal LF program

Hi

I am working on a wind diagram for my 6BR using the Lapua 90 gr SC Silver Jacket and I am using the Exbal LF program from Nightforce, now the field "Sight height above bore" I am asked to fill in the distance my scope is above bore but I am a bit confused if this means top of steel of bore or the distance from the bore center line. Also I am not sure where to measure this, right at the objective of just in front of where the bore comes out of the action. Could anybody be so kind to help me out on this.

Happy New Year,

Kees

Normally the program wants the measurement from the center of the front objective to the centerline of the bore.

It's nice to get this measurement "spot on". But 1/4" one way or the other only makes a difference at close range, and the height of the optic doesn't affect the actual ballistics of the bullet in any way.

Thank you for your reply, I want to make a diagram for 300, 400 and 500 meters with this bullet and I want to get as accurate as I can, I never used a diagram before so I am actually very curious if this works very well, I guess it will depend on how good I can learn to read the wind.
