Evironmentalism kills wildlife

Bold statement isn't it? However it's 100% true and has been for 50-60 years now. As some of you know i have spent most of my long life working in the forests across the western part of our nation.
Yes environmentalists say they love wildlife, however their form of love for animals has killed more wildlife than any form of hunting ever has, it's not even close.

I can give you many examples of this, but to keep this simple i will use just one and it was less than 50 miles from here where i live. The tower mountain fire when it happened was let to burn because of the forest service environmental management program that is still in many places being practiced in our nation. This environmental policy practices leaving everything alone until it's to late to put out the fires that start because of fuel load and as such the fires outrace any and all animals, above and below ground. Those of us who were on the mountain when this fire happened listened on the radio as orders to leave it alone were given until the fire created it's own vortex winds and it couldn't be put out.

The heat created by this type of fire takes boulders the size of cars and trucks and heats them up until they explode into dust, the worst of it is that it also sterilized the ground so nothing grew there of any size for close to ten years.
Some of the fire crews who witnessed this saw the fire catch a herd of elk and after it was done burning there, there weren't even bones left, it burned that hot. I was over on another peak,(all rock) and watched it come across the Camas creek valley crowning across the lodge pole patches at an honest 60mph, nothing can out run or live through that.

We have had over 50 years of this environmental stupidity and lost hundreds of thousands or more of our wonderful wildlife to these fires because of this B.S, how much more of this insanity do you want?

Transplanting a species from one area to another is always a bad plan that has huge secondary consequences that no one imaged. The fire thing is completely different. I can only speak to California fires, but there is a natural fire cycle that we have screwed up so bad that now nothing is natural. The redwoods use small fires in cycles to germinate and keep down the smaller weed trees. The fires clears out the bottom of the forest and provides nutrients to the big trees. Now the weed trees are so tall everything will be gone.

Just read a report that the anti/environmental folks have now pressured game management to stop feeding the Elk, Deer and Moose that come to the Jackson Hole refuge each year and winter. Their claim is that it will stop CWD in the Elk mainly.
Can you see how many will starve in the winter, without the food that has been given them over the last years ?
Old timers can remember the reason they were fed each winter when they move into the valley from the heavy snows in the mountains, was due to the large numbers that died by starvation prior to the feeding program.
Now it will start all over again and all because of the miss-guided push by these fruitcakes.

The last word says it all fruitcakes. Most of these people if brains were gasoline they wouldn't have enough to power a nats minibike around the inside of a cherrioe. Its disgusting how these people act towards others. One fruitcake the other day said I dont need facts they mean nothing to me. HOLY WOW and that dumb c--t is allowed to vote AND reproduce.

this land grab by the Gov is disguised to save the animals by taking land..so they can get you into stack n pack..therefore having more control over you..along with chemtrails.. fires,,then noahide laws..it's working

The fact of the matter is that the elk in Wyoming have been blocked from their natural migration routes to the south by the ranchers and farmers that settled around Jackson Hole since the early 1900s. The elk were being fed in order to prevent them from eating the hay that farmers and ranchers grew for their livestock. The real problem is that the communities around the area are responsible for screwing up the elk environment, the land can't really handle the number of elk that are there so either you have to kill off the number of elk or the number of people - personally I'd have no problem with removing the people but I sort doubt that it will ever happen.

This is just one of many environmental stupidities i have seen over the years and i could continue relating such stories until the cows come home. Having worked with and around the agency's, (forest service and BLM pop into my mind first, but there are plenty of others as well) that were taught this stupidity in college instead of paying attention to the old school foresters who had learned it by doing it the right way.
There is a reason our forests were stable for many years before this started to happen, and it wasn't because of today's environmental forest practices.

As you can see by the response's to my writing this, the problems caused by this environmental approach are nation wide and not just one area. So yes your state will continue to take your hundreds or perhaps thousands of dollars to let you hunt where ever you hunt, knowing full well that your chances of getting anything to take home with you are worse each year.

When i moved here 40+ years ago i could go to certain places and watch elk herds at certain times of the year and count over 300 head of elk in one herd. We do still have a few of these herds left, but it isn't because of the O.D.F.W, it's because there are still ranches here for the elk to hide on and winter on. The O.D.F.W's approach was to bring in Canadian wolves, ... yep that sure has helped, ... the wolves. Just try and get an honest answer about the elk population now, and watch the run around you get. I do have to admit that some of them did have excuses i hadn't heard before.

Like many things mankind has done trying to "make things better" it may have been a good idea when it started, but now it's the problem, ... not the answer.

The only place I know where you can consistently find the cold hard truth about these issues.

Environmentalists also kill families and livelihoods. I am from timber country. I remember the spotted owl bullshit all too well.

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/...-shooting-logging-endangered-species-science/

Yes very much so, all threw out Northern California and many other western states loggers, mills and such closed up shop. And in the end a few years later, it was found that another owl was the cause of the Spotted Owl decline, nothing to do with timber being cut, etc.
But these fruitcakes have a lot of money behind them, which they use too buy off government officials and departments and get them to vote and change the laws in the way they want and for their agenda.

Man you should see the fires we have here in Northern AZ, they're all summer long.

Lot's of people suffer from the almost constant smoke filled poor air quality.

Prescribed burns getting out of control. It's almost like they pick windy days to start one???

Add that to the common lightning fires, or people tossing lit cigarettes, or not putting out campfires, which seems often.

I scratch my head when I see the huge abundance of firewood on the ground and of course the FS doesn't open these areas to wood cutting. Instead the areas local that are open are picked over badly. I literally drove 1.5hrs to a spot by the Grand Canyon to get my wood for the winter and I'm darn lucky my bud who works up there knew about it. The professional woodcutters are charging a ridiculous amount for wood because they either have to travel far to good areas or transport wood from way off the road to the truck which is time consuming, and well the damn gov won't let them or us drive off the road very far.

Oh and BTW the FS is selling the partially burned big trees from fires to commercial businesses. There was literally helicopters delivering wood logs to a place near the highway!

I think most can agree this gov BS concerning every subject is totally out of control.

Get this... I know a guy that was actively involved in a outdoors club volunteering his time repairing trails. The FS fined him with a heavy fine for doing this. This individual is wealthy fortunately and had a lawsuit in court for many years because it pissed him off so bad!

Locally we used to have a 1000Y match every year out in the FS at a place that used to be an old shooting range. This place has 200Y, 300Y, 600Y and 1000Y raised shooting locations. In fact our club was required by the FS to have insurance to put on that 1000Y match.

Well some bastard FS law enforcement officer gave me a damn citation for shooting across a road when I was practicing for the match at 1000Y - the same road you come in on and that goes down to the base of the hill where the targets are set. I tried to tell the FS cop all this about the club and the insurance which was ignored.

Then at the hearing the bastard higher up threatened me with additional charges (reckless endangerment or some such) if I took the matter to court.

I don't like to think about it "ALL"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
