.44s were just my start in to handguns-Ruger Redhawk, M29, Anaconda. Expanded to 2 Pythons, FA .454 & .475L, Taurus & Smith .500 mags. All have taken unbelievable amount of game.

Had a few Contender 44 magnum barrels 10” and 14”, finally got tired of the punishment, never had much of a desire for one in a handgun, just remembered had a Marlin 44 lever action, paid $88.88 at Kmart in the mid seventies, wish I had. Kept that one. You could hit the ground with it but not much else.

Coupe of Herretts and a 7/30 Waters, but no 44 mag. Shot a few when I was younger and never fell in love. Like the 38/357 SW686 a bit though!

In Smith I have 629 & 329, Ruger a New model Super Blackhawk, Bisley hunter and my favorite a 3 screw Super Blackhawk that has the nicest blueing of any I own. Oh and a Henry lever action.

Yep. An 8" anaconda and a rossi 92 carbine. Both shoot really well.

Started with a 10" Contender with the ventilated rib and internal choke .
Thats what got me started down the reloading road .
Had a couple of Super Blackhawks ,all the 7 1/2" flavor.
A Charter Bulldog was in the mix along with the first generation of the S&W 29 mountain gun.
The worst gun I have ever owned , went back to the factory 3 times .
Took a chance on a S&W M69 and so far happy with it .
By the way , my first hunting rifle was a Ruger 44 Carbine back in 1978 .

There's a few 44's here. One stand out,and headed to the river behind the house today(raining). We shoot from a high bank at 2x4 blocks thrown upstream.... as they travel down river. It is durn close to a walking deer shot from a treestand.

DW 744 6", with cast Lyman 429215 loaded at, 9g Dupont PB, 800-900 'ish fps. Vortex red dot. Everyone who shoots this "beer can" @75 yd rig comes away grinning ear to ear.
