I posted some videos last night that I made. After I posted them I realized they look hazy, I think it's because of the lighting. I'll work on putting out higher quality videos in the future, but for now, they get the point across.

I will use this thread to post the links to my new YouTube videos as well as keep a detailed list of the videos I have uploaded.

Really looking forward to this Erik and wishing you all the best success with it. Now I have a picture in my head what you look like, so maybe I can see how far off I am LOL

The videos will not help you to see what I look like... yet! LOL

Of course, you can always click the link on my signature line and see what I look like.

Erik, you said the videos looked a bit hazy. Not on my computer. They looked as good as any. The most important thing is that I can actually HEAR YOU WITH DISTINCTION.. A better video with with less clarity in the sound would not be better. Your videos, as far as I can see, are just fine.. Thanks for taking the time to undergo this project.. I appreciate it very much.. Oh and I know what you look like... Just seeing your hands is just fine! LOL!!! Just kidding!!

I figured I would not show my face yet... Don't want to scare off the audience just yet! lol

Erik, here is an idea for one of your future videos. I know that you had a bit of trouble at one point with your Shehane. Somewhere along the line, you "fixed / cured" that problem. I was wondering if you could put together a video "troubleshooting" the "normal" problems associated with precision loading. We could write up a small book on such a concept, but video could do it in a few lessons.. I think "problem elimination" is where most people need help with. Let's face it, accurate shooting is merely the ELIMINATION of the obstacles in your load development that are standing in your way of wringing out the most your rifle can deliver.. A video like that would do wonders!

That's a great idea. Maybe as I go along with my videos I will talk about all the issues that I have encountered as I went along. I'll see how it develops.
Thanks Ben.

Erik,
You're off to a hot start. The pictures looked slightly on the dark side (compared to professional videos) but still very good for home/shop made video.

Congrats,

Joe

I agree. I actually put a second light above my desk by I think it made it worse. I'll work on lighting on the next videos.

Great start Erik! I've already picked up a couple things in the "why didn't I think of that category". Using old primer boxes to mix epoxy = priceless. Seems like every time I need to mix epoxy, I spend more time looking for something to mix it in/on than it takes to do whatever I need it for. I've been putting off buying a Wilson micrometer seater for some time, dang if I'm not going to have to procure one of those too. keep up the good work!

They didn't appear hazy but they were a little dark. Writing information on the bench top is a great idea. Keep doing that.

I think if you hung off white sheets on your wall you would get a better light on what your doing kinda like what photographers use as a back drop to even out reflections and soften the light in the general area. Other than that nicely done.

Maybe a couple of bikini girls would have the same effect!

Great stuff so far Erik, thanks so much for taking the time to do these videos! I turned a buddy on to your channel a few minutes ago.

Watched the videos an watched the bullet comparator one twice , never checked my hornady inserts measurements . Would they measure right on the money or are they gonna be inaccurate as well ? Any ideas ? as I was not aware these companies were making them this way . I will go back an check mine an report what I find .
