Ennis, TX Club VFS - Saturday October 11!

Come to Ennis, Texas on Saturday, October 11 for a club 200 yard VFS match. The Ennis Gun Club's address is 1113 Cut Off Road. Gate opens at 7:00 AM and the match will begin at 8:30 AM. Registration is $20.00 per competitor. Weather is forecast to be in the mid 60's with mild wind and low humidity. In other words, a beautiful October morning in Texas. What better way is there to start your morning than a very competitive and fun club VFS 200 yard match? See y'all there!

There are are some great kolache places in Ennis, and delicious coffee, too. The range is a short 15 minutes or so out of town. Kolaches + coffee and a club VFS match - a real Texas two-step!

Thirteen competitors showed up to battle for first place at the Ennis, TX Gun Club, on Saturday, October 11th. At the end of the match, Charles Moore earned the victory with a fine 250-9X. This is Charles "sharpshooter" Moore's 4th consecutive win at Ennis. Can anyone stop his deathgrip on first place? Mike Green (250-6X) and Glenn Chism (250-4X) rounded out the top three. Special mention to Steve Brown, who led the pack with an incredible 15 X's. Finally, a big thank you to Danny Keeney (maker of some of the finest wind flags anywhere) for running the match and making this awesome competition possible.
