Enid Ok, Varmint hunting

Do any of you guys and gals hunt in or aroung Enid Ok. ? I have a friend who is going through pilot training at the airforce base there. I think he needs something to shoot in his spare time. Let me know of anything that you know of.

We used to shoot jackrabbits up in that area back in the mid-80's. They were considered pests back then, and there were no bag limits or restrictions on them then. Be sure to check with a Game Warden as that was a long time ago.

For those that are not familiar with the jackrabbit these things are huge compared to cottontails. We used to find them lined up in the shade of telephone poles and such.

We shot most at 300 plus yards as anything less was just too easy.
