Just wondered if this endoscope would work to view my scale pointer. Says it focus is 11/2-4 inches. Thanks, Im computer challenged.

Not real sure how much magnification you need or how you want to set it up, but I just use a fly-tying magnifying glass and adjust for angle. The kind with a heavy stand like in the photo.

Just as easy to use phone or tablet on picture setting ...
I had a cardboard stand to hold tablet in position.

I took the alligator clips off my xtra hands and used just the lens and now I can see the pointer better. Nothing fancy, low tech and works for me. Thanks for looking.

I like to use my old phone. This was a quick picture, I usually have the camera level with the pointer and the centered on the screen.

I use a Lenovo 8 or 10" tablet, found on clearance at wally world for like $70 bucks, and use a letter holder weighted down with a box of 223 ammo (20).
