Ended my Buck season with only two hours in the stand

Very nice, congratulations!

He looks like he has some weight to him.

I took my wife out yesterday with her new Tenpoint crossbow. We saw several deer, especially in the evening, but she did not get a shot.

Nice going! Good looking buck.
I'm shooting a Barnett also. What grain broad heads are they? Have you shot them over the chrono? How far did he run?

I had a unusually quick season back around 1985. I got in the stand opening day after work and killed a big doe that watched me climb the tree. Lol And then gun season finally came and had a buck run straight at me about 15 min in the stand. I felt robbed of the hunt and never did that again!!

I sure wish I could tell how far a deer had run just by looking at a picture. WOW!

I know how far they run when I miss em! Ha. I got a trail cam pic of a Iowa monster today on my phone! Maybe time out can post it. Wow a big one! I put the hunting gear in the wagon after seeing that. Good year for big ones!!

125's and the Zeiss scope says 400 fps. He went about 85 yards however the last 15-20 were in an ugly area!
Sorry Gary they are 100's. Had to get some more and a rebuild kit after filling one of the anterless tags in the first week!
She was quartering towards me at 30 yards. Placed the bolt between the shoulder and brisket. Caught the top of the heart and exited just in front of the diaphragm on the opposite side. 40-45 yard run and watched her head roll back above the weeds.
