A Super 11 is the first lathe I worked with. Would love to have that or preferably one of these V13's. This one looks like a beaut. Geez it sucks to be poor, in bad health and 1300 miles away.

Man thats a time capsule. I wouldnt think it would sell for half that but ive been surprised before

Someone will jump on that even at that price. Beautiful machine but the 36mm through bore is just adequate for through the headstock chambering.

Looks brand new, don't see any whoops. Guess a 4 jaw chuck could be purchased off the self.

Isn't that the same Emco Maier that Dwight Scott uses? It is a top quality lathe.

A beauty, no doubt.
Might be worth the coin if parts are available (no idea).
If not, that's a risky move. Geared heads like that can cost more than the value of the lathe to fix. Conversely, given it's nearly new and very high quality not likely to have a major problem in the near future.

What type of spindle nose? Camlock? L?

It's a nice looking machine. I don't see the change gears it will need but they could be there. They would have came with the machine. If not they can be made but they will be mod. gears.
