ELR in North Texas

I stumbled upon White Oak Creek north of MT Pleasant a few weeks ago at a Hunter Games match. It’s quite the facility. They have PRS, PRS rimfire, ELR matches and hopefully NRL Hunter matches in the future. Super nice guys.

Anyway, they are hosting ELR range days next week. I registered this morning and screwed back on my 338LM barrel this evening. It’s the only place I know of in N TX thst allows .338s and up at long range. I figure I might as well go suck at something new.

I’m not in tune with the ELR stuff, so I apologize if this is old news. Screenshot attached.

I went out yesterday again and it’s even better than before. All 11 targets have LongshotHD cameras on them. You can spot for yourself in real time.

From 1,300 to 3,520 you have these to look at. They do video with audio, too. Store files locally on your phone.

I didn’t bother past 1,900 and even that was a low hit %. Had fair amount of success at 1 mile tho.

Only 4 shooters were there. Be nice if it became more popular so they keep offering range days.
