Eliseo AN1 assembly

When assembling an Eliseo AN1 chassis onto a barreled action, how forgiving is the attachment-sleeve location? I have read the assembly instructions at gotxring.com, but still wondering just how it all goes together.

Wondering how this will work with some barrel contours other than factory Anschutz barrels?

Where’re you at BennyBB? Maybe I can help....

I built an AN-1 back in 2010, it’s easy. I love it!

Trick is to keep action centered in the action sleeve when you’re gluing the barrel adapter to the barrel. I can explain over the phone or by e-mail how I approached this. PM me if you want to take this off-forum.

If you have a non-Anschutz barrel you need to make sure its OD at the portion over which the adapter is to be glued on leaves space sufficient for a proper ‘bedding’ in epoxy. I’d say 1/16” minimum, 3/32” be better.

I drilled holes in my barrel adapter to make placing epoxy easier once I had the adapter positioned with o-rings at each end. Otherwise you’re trying to slip the adapter over a barrel that’s been slathered with epoxy... not an attractive proposition!

And yes, o-rings keep the epoxy where it belongs, once the adapter’s positioned.
