The Eley Tenex .22LR ammunition has a mean muzzle velocity of approximately 1040-1085 ft/s (317-331 m/s). At 50 meters, it's around 994 ft/s (303 m/s), and at 100 yards, it's about 935 ft/s (285 m/s). The bullet weight is 40 grains (2.59 grams).

This was in the time period that Eley was not publishing the speed on their boxes. A bunch of lots around then were in the 1065-1080 published range but not all.
