There are instructions on the web to make a electronic bore cleaner and it is easy to make and cheap. Solution used is
50% distilled water; 25% household ammonia; and 25% vinegar.
They are either battery driven or 3v power supply. Cycle time is 40 minutes and they are supposed to work well with no etching if you control the current to 100 ma. Easy to do.
It removes copper.
