Electric Bikes

One of my neighbor's rides one. I'll ask him what he thinks about it's use for hunting.

I talked to my neighbor a few minutes ago. He said it would be great for strapping a bag to the handlebars to use for squirrels, rabbits, grouse or turkey. It's a heavy bike, and pricey:eek:

Thanks for your help. I live in the Nicolet National forest, and am not getting any younger. I'm still able to get about anywhere I want to go, but can see the day when it may be harder. I don't want to hunt off of one, just get quiet access to areas I like to go to. An article in one of the Predator Hunting magazines has renewed my interest and I am going to take a hard look at the Rambo R750C this summer and a few others. If others want to add anything, chime in. Barlow

If you plan to use it simply for access, there is a number of bikes that would serve you well. Good luck with your search. Take a look at the Specialized line also;)

There is a new series of mountain bikes out with 30 inch tires (?) which look way oversized. They are designed to significantly reduce jolts and jars as well as go over sand and mud with little if any impact to you. Buy cheap! Camo the frame and your good to go. Little environmental impact, no pollution, great exercise and easily concealed.

Thanks, do you know the manufacturer? Barlow

No, I do not. They are known as Fat Tire Bikes. They can be expensive but you could find something a lot cheaper if you look. I have been them at Sports Outlets and such. Do your homework and check our the videos online under Fat Bike.

A "fat tire" bike has wider tires/rims, not 30" rims.
