Edgewood Mini Gator first impressions

Just recieved my Mini Gator,standard height) with 2 inch ears today. Beautiful product, and well worth the wait,8 weeks to the day if you're curious). Those nice long ears should definately help the tracking. Workmanship was absolutely flawless. It's almost to pretty to take to the range.

Just FYI the bag and ears needed 15 pounds of Zircon to fill for a total weight of 16 pounds 3.8 ounces. I'm sure after a little while I'll need to add some more, so if your contemplating purchasing one,Mini Gator)it will take a whole bag of Zircon from Sinclairs just to get you started.

Can't wait to get up to the range and road test it!

The reason I ask is I would like to order an edgewood real soon as my current rear bag doesn't fit the flat on the tracker stock real well.

Any suggestions as to the best edgewood bag for long range BR, I do use the rear bag for full control,i don't use a farley or adjustable front rest).

I use the Gatorhead and really like it. As for bag squeezers, you may not like this style rear bag. It is very stable and hard to push around.

Muzza--i use the std bag for LR stuff--the heel of my hand would interfere with a larger bag

Max height, short ears, 3/8" flat

fits the 1/2" tracker MBR flat quite well.

I have added a bit more sand since the pic and it works much better

As soon as we get the camera charged up I'll post a picture side by side with a standard Bald Eagle for comparison.
