I was there Jackie, It was an embarrassing moment for Deathstar! Weren't you shooting your 25BR?
I'm sure they realize they need to be competitively priced with the high-tier barrelmakers.I agree. If the pricing comes out reasonable they might be my next barrel as well.
I think pulling, or pushing a carbide button to form rifling might be a little faster.12 minutes to rifle a 28" barrel, is that faster or slower than button/cut rifling? My guess is faster.
About a hour (53 minutes actual run time) probably right for cut rifling.
Jackie said 320 seconds, so that was the reason for my reply. I cannot imagine 53 minutes per barrel. They better have a lot of rifling machines.160 cutting cycles 20 seconds per cycle. 3200 seconds 53.3 minutes. I have not been in a shop that rifles barrels, just wondering. There needs to be a cost advantage to any new machine op, whether time or waste.
I missed a zero. Typo.Jackie said 320 seconds, so that was the reason for my reply. I cannot imagine 53 minutes per barrel. They better have a lot of rifling machines.
Help me find one and I'll have you chamber an extra for my build.Im excited to chamber some
