Easy peasy targets

Sinclair used to sell these target stamps for 100 and 200 yard targets. I can't imagine how many thousands of targets these stamps have made. With some decent paper, you've got an unlimited supply of targets. I made 15 sheets of 15 targets last evening in a half hour...no down loading anything or printing. You can have these made by any rubber stamp company or hobby stores that handle stamping supplies.

For scopes with a dot reticle, adding a dot with a marker helps.

When Bruce Atkins passed away, I bought his stamp, one for 100, one for 200.

Since he already had about 200 targets already made up, (which I bought,) I haven’t had an occasion to use the stamps.

Our local club had the local Vo-Tec print up a couple PALLETS of targets some years back modeled after the 100 yd BR targets. Printed on hvy card stock with 6 targets per sheet. They used it as an excersize for their print shop. The club may have paid for the paper but I'm not sure.

I have & use both stamps as well.

I also make targets from my old 600 yard targets on the back side. I tape up the holes with masking tape, and use different size washers as templates. A little more time consuming, but I tape over the holes till they get shot up too bad.

Dumb question here but what is the purpose of the square on top of the circle target design?
With advances in printers I can get some printed reasonably if I give them the artwork. I have drawn up a couple different types and so far I am leaning towards a diamond shape (or square rotated 45* if you prefer)
laid out like Alf's on the target.
Any thoughts?

I prefer the diamond rotated square target also, I did find the targets with a cross worked good also up to 200 yards, Thankfully I am more of a gong guy I can divided them much easier

Just a helpful tip for today...

For past few years, been using the spacer for a 24 box of Pepsi. Gives me 12 targets and I can leave them on top of the garbage can, so my fellow shooters can drool. On a less than good day I bring them home. I draw cross hairs on each circle or stick a target dot in the middle.

Old desk calendars are good and free most of the time. They usually have squares around each day. The corners make good aiming points and theyre numbered. Wish they were heavier paper. Those are both 5 shot groups! Twas a good day!

I had a self inking stamp made for less than 25.00. .5 inches black circle, the sides are .125 thick. I can put my dots inside and see clearly to 400 yds. That's as far as I tried. The rings are very black, good for 50,000 stamps and refillable, for free. A local copy shop made it.
