SELLING Early Sako Tri-Ace Target Pistol .32 S&W w/ Case

For sale is a Sako Tri-ace chambered in .32S&W with 3 magazines and a fitted case. Early model with slide release and blued slide.

Don’t see these often. A local shop here has the complete set as new for sale.

What calibers did they come in?
.22,.32 &.38
The hole in the end of the barrel doesn't look big enough for a .45.

Suppressed Tactical Solutions in Edinburgh TX. Comes in .22short, .22LR, and .32.

What a beauty, I remember seeking one a long time ago. Ended buying a Feinwerkbau AW93.

Maybe RINK grips can produce a Left Handed grip. That where I bought mine

243 Lapua,

I typed in RINK Grips. They are in Germany. Where did you get yours? Then I searched and found Horton Grips in Mt Vernon, IL.

In comparison testing of about 6-8 of these (for statistical reliability) to the SIG P240, AW-93, Walther GSP and GSP Expert, AW93, Hammerli 208 and 212, and a few others, in .32, only the SIG -240 was the equal of this gun for accuracy, but did not have anything near the range of adjustment latitude for the trigger. Perceived recoil is greater with this gun than the AW-93 or the GSP Expert (and Pardini), but accuracy was better for the Tri Ace. The SAKO in 32 was a favorite field gun of the KGB in prior decades, in part due to the accuracy.

The same (except for KGB preference) was true in .22lr and 22s. The barrel design is unusual, and contributes to the high accuracy.

The RH grip is usable left handed, if one omits the shelf or makes a custom one. Custom 3-D printer shops also can make a LH grip. Unfortunately, Nill no longer lists a grip for this gun.

Some of the magazines in .32 are convertible to 6 round use by removal of a limiter rod.
