E R Shaw 22 lr barrel question

Thinking of rebarreling my ruger rprr wondering what the hive has to say about experince with E R Shaw 18 inch Match barrel. Thanks for all come backs

I bought a used E.R. Shaw for my 10/22 made a world of difference!

Let me know what your gonna do with your factory barrel

I have a friend that put a E.R. Shaw barrel on his Ruger 10-22 and it’s very accurate..

I have a 10/22 with a Shaw.m barrel, it’s as accurate as a number of “fancy” bolt guns I own or have owned.

As my some gets older I’ll be putting a Shaw on his RPRR

It's been 5 years since I installed an 18" ER Shaw match barrel onto my RPRF and it was an immediate improvement and has shot well ever since (a little less than 2000 rounds through it, so far). I don't think you'll be disappointed.

When I first mounted it, cartridges were sticking in the lands and nearly couldn't get them out unless fired. Something not really unusual for a match 22 LR barrel. To do that, it was a hard bolt close that I didn't like so remounted the barrel putting a .003 shim in. Cartridges still has a bit of a tight fit, but they can be extracted without issue leaving just a slight deformation left by the lands.

installed a ErSHaw on a 10/22, depending what it gets fed it is accurate. Feeds good too.
