Maybe I should say the Dynamic Trio, Mousel, Schatz, and Jason Wolf stopped in to take a break at the Dome on their way back to S. Dakota, N. Dakota, and Mizzoula, Montana after Tom took top honors at the 1,000 yard Nationals at Cool Acres Range in Swainsboro, Ga.
They stopped near Atlanta Sunday night and arrived at the Dome, just off I-40, one hour east of Nashville, around 9 a.m.
They stopped at the house and visited with Martha and then continued to the range where they were joined by Junebug (who shot the quarter @ 800 yds with Vapor Trails), Shayne, and John Kruzan.
A truck load of wood was unloaded for a photo opt. I had to work and missed all this but Martha took pics for me.

The Dynamic Trio

Could not pass up a photo in front of DOME sign but the mid-morning light was at the wrong angle for a bright shot

It was killing me that I could not be there to meet Tom and Jason but I have a strong feeling that I will meet them soon at Deep Creek.
Deep Creek has been on my bucket list for some time. Now even more so. I want to meet Tom, Leo, Lonnie, Torg, Alex, Donovan, and Wayne (Bozo). I bought a varmint 6 BR from Alex a while back.

Tom had enough time to try Junebug's tube gun, a 6 XC. I has a custom elevation turret calibrated for the XC. Bug told him to dial to 300 and try the plate.
First shot hit.
Then he dialed up to the 800 yard Chuckie ground hog and got a first shot hit. I believe Richard told me the only miss was when Tom had it dialed in for 600 but the yardage was actually 800.
