Dumb Reamer question

Couple of years back I ordered a finisher and a resizer reamer from PTG.
Now I need a gun smith to chamber it for me.
Is my PTG reamer made bushing dies or non bushing dies? Or its a the same ? I am really confused.

It will depend the neck diameter you ordered on the resize reamer, but if its small enough to size the neck you can use it to make a full length die or full length bushing die. If the neck is the same or larger than the chamber reamer, you can only make a fl bushing die with it.

The Newlon can be used either way depending the size and how deep you run the reamer in.

All you have to do is bore it out bigger than your bushing hole size. Even a regular ole drill will do it before you harden it

My reamer has a neck part that will bore it out so thats not gonna work.
In case you disnt see the pictue both my finishing reamer and resizing reamer are marked with the same neck diameter

Thats exactly right. Drill the bushing die blank out to a size bigger than your biggest expected bushing. This is how its done.

Wonder if you can get the reamer modified. They would just have to take some metal off of the tool.

You went to the trouble to get a resize reamer to make a custom FL die. It's not that much further to make a FL bushing die. In the end you'll be happier.
Depending on how much of the neck you want to size there will be little to no cylinder section in the neck area so size doesn't matter.

I am embarasingly bad at explaining myself, can some one reccomend a gunsmith that does these kind of jobs and will know what to do?

Edit, I just called PTG and they said I can use my resizing reamer for FL bushingLESS die. So Im gonna get a proper die blank from newlon. Now I need to find a gun smith that does them.

I was just looking at the picture of the Reamers you posted above, and they appear to have nearly identical markings, including both being marked with a FreeBore length. Are you SURE one of them is a resizer?

Yes, it says so on the reamer and that is what I ordered. Hard to see it with my LED lights and glare.
