Drying brass

I just use a blow dryer and use them the next day usually anyway. I can dry a couple hundred .308 in mere minutes.
Same here, why some go through all those gyrations......

Dump them in a strainer, and hit 'em with a blow dryer while flipping them like a fancy chef on the kitchen shows. Takes less than 5 minutes to get them too hot to handle.

Dump them in a bowl, size, tumble, load, done.

I got a wally world food dehydrator, has 5 trays, on/off switch and temp control, works great and is pretty quite, don't have to turn up the TV when it's running.

I do this. 150 degrees for 50 min. With the fan in the dehydrator, all dry evenly.
Thanks
Bill

I drop them neck-down on the pegs in the dishwasher, then turn it on to the dry cycle. Approach this technique cautiously with the missus...

I guess I also go low tech, and blow them out with my air compressor from both ends. Then let them sit neck down after I've finished for the night.

mikeeg, do you have some sort of drier or trap on the airline from your compressor? Only asking because you can also introduce contaminates such as oil and or water using this method....... Bob.

I blow them out with air and then anneal them properly. Done deal.. ready for sizing.:)
