I am with "TheOtherZilla"! I want rifle that has ZERO stress in the barrel, shoots at 1/4 m.o.a. out to 1000 and won't change point of impact as the barrel heats up! Oh and is extremely pleasing to the eye!

I have a pretty substantial collection and already own just about all of my "dream guns"...the one that has eluded me for some time now is a Marlin 1895 Deluxe {square bolt, takedown, pistol grip, special smokeless steel, etc.} Don't really care about the caliber, but 45-70 would be nice. It don't even really need to be a takedown, but I believe just about all of the "Deluxe" grades were.
Two that got away and I got over it...a factory engraved custom shop 870 Wingmaster and the 760 Remington Premier {Peerless??} engraved and gold inlayed rifle that was in the 1975 catalog.

I remember reading about one 10-15 years ago on Rimfirecentral. Supposedly one made for a “high up” at Remington. Of course, could be internet legend. Fun to think it could exist though.

I can't decide. I have more than I need and just about everything I want. I am actually enjoying the rifles I am chambering for myself. I guess it would be neat to chamber something, send it out for a high luster blue, bed it in an exhibition grade stock, then send the stock out to be finished.

I want a civil war Zouave Rifle made by Remington in like new condition. Wait I have one just like it and a brother to it as a shooter. What I really want though is to have a model B 52 winchester that hasnt been butchered. Price is to high for me but you never know. The other is a factory engraved model 99 savage in 30-30 or any common cartridge.

You could shoot around $1000 worth of ammo in about a minute.

A member at my local gun has several nice doubles, including a Purdy in 577,
A few years ago, he was at the range preparing for a trip to Africa, and he let me fire the Purdy.
surprisingly, the recoil was more like a hard push rather than the painful hit of the 460 Weatherby.
During the next cease fire, he went and dug the two solids out of the burm.
I have to say, that was the most beautiful firearm I ever had the Privilege to shoot.

Mine would have to be a rifle that always shoots in the "1's". In all conditions. even when I miss a wind call. And never let number five screw up an amazing group. And one that does not necessarily need perfect bag alignment or a handloading process that occasionally recquires the services of a voodoo witch doctor. Make and caliber open.

Chasin Beaver, I'll say this, I bought Mike Walker's personal mod37. I also have Mike's 722 in 257 Roberts. The mod37 is very little different than the off the shelf model and it sure ain't a sporter.
